Lodestar Consulting is currently seeking multiple full-time Oracle Scrum Master Leads at all levels to join our team in support of the Air Force. This shall involve, but is not limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Advise organizations through their Lean-Agile transformation, using scaling frameworks and identifying and optimizing value streams
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies such as product backlog refinement, preplanning, planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for multiple agile teams
  • Collaborate closely with the product owner to prepare and clarify the product backlog
  • Lead collaboration initiatives with developers, stakeholders, product owners to translate business objectives into user stories and development efforts
  • Help draft precise, actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Assist in developing product strategies that deliver customer value and drive business growth
  • Lead teams through story grooming, decomposition, and development estimation
  • Coach and mentor team members on agile standards and best practices
  • Configure and maintain an agile project management tool (JIRA, etc.)
  • Challenging and improving the operation of the team, improving their performance and capabilities
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving
  • Support the team to improve their technical work by reviewing results and establish lessons learned as well as track the improvement
  • Facilitates getting the work done without coercion, assigning, or dictating the work
  • Interact and communicate effectively with logistics and technology senior/middle management
  • Participate in MRO process improvement workshops identifying gaps, and providing solutions to bridge gaps and enhance processes
  • Apply basic skills and experience in systems development, detailed knowledge of business processes, technical background and supervisory skills to implement business solutions

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience as Release Train Engineer (RTE) and/or Scrum Master
  • SAFe / Agile / Scrum experience
  • Experience in working with Agile teams and Agile development practices, including sprint planning or grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily scrum
  • Must have program and project management skills, and excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Exposure to working with teams in virtual environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills

Desired Skills: 

  • Certified Scrum Master or SAFe certification is a plus
  • Certified SAFe Practictioner (SP) is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree in computer information systems, programming engineering, technology and/or relevant professional RPA certifications

Security Clearance:

  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship).
